Introduction:
Printing paste is a kind of macromolecular compound acted as thickener in printing agent. Before it's added to the printing agent, printing paste is generally soluble in water or fully swelling in water and disperse hydrophilic macromolecular to thicken colloidal solution or emulsion paste. While printing agent prepared, some dyes are dissolved in water, the others are dissolved, absorbed or dispersed in the original printing paste. Printing paste is the main component of printing agent. It decides the printing operation performance, surface color yield, smoothness of outline pattern, etc.
According to different equipments of printing industry and different printing methods (screen printing, plate printing, roller printing, etc) in different countries, we produced different specifications of products after volumes of experiment in order to satisfy the requirement of each country's customer. Our products are divided as follows according to the degree of polymerization.
Ultra-low degree of polymerization (0.05± 0.02)Pa. S
Low degree of polymerization(0.10± 0.02)Pa. S
Medium degree of polymerization (0.20± 0.03)Pa. S
High degree of polymerization (0.35± 0.05)Pa. S
Super-high degree of polymerization (0.60± 0.10)Pa. S
Simultaneously, in order to meet different effects of printing, our Company has developed special products used in sophisticated pattern, closely woven fabrics. The printing paste we produced has good penetrability, especially for the sodium alginate with low degree of polymerization. Because it's easy to penetrate into fiber gap and can improve the reaction probability between dye and fiber, so it has an effect on high color yield, average dyeing, clear printing outline and it's rather suitable for screen and hydrophobic fiber printing.
